ליץ’ החליטה לבדוק את כרטיס ההגרלה כשיצאה לארוחת צהריים בסניף של מקדונלדס. “לא הצלחתי לישון במהלך 30 השעות שלאחר הזכייה”, היא מספרת. לאחר שהתעשתה היא התפטרה מעבודתה בחברה לייצור סיבי זכוכית, מיד לאחר הזכייה. ג’ולי היא הזוכה היחידה בהגרלה זו.
